We are currently in the process of developing a new website that will better accommodate the needs of our members. A major focus of that will be to provide you with a solid easy to use accurate tool to calculate draw odds for every state we cover. As you might imagine, this is a labor intensive undertaking and as such we will not have it up and functioning prior to the 2017 application deadlines. In the meantime, the monthly magazines are packed with the best up to date information and in most cases, draw odds. Beyond that, we will post links to the state draw odds reports and if any member needs help interpreting those they can call us anytime. We have 5 full-time PHA’s in the office ready to help you find the best hunt for every situation. To start off here is the link for Wyoming’s draw odds report:

https://wgfd.wyo.gov/Hunting/Drawing-Odds

Wyoming has a preference point system for Elk, Moose, and Sheep. Bison and Mtn Goat are randomly drawn (no point system). For Elk, you can apply for "special" price or "regular" price permits.

The draw odds are reported for these two categories separately. As such, you will see odds for applicants with preference points (preference point column) and without preference points (random column) for both "special" and "regular" categories.
